A large, airy shrub with dainty, grey-green foliage. The flowers, which are held on thin, wiry stems, are soft rose pink and are semi-double in form. They open to provide us with an almost camellia-like blooms. Early in the season, the fragence is myrrh with a touch of tea at the bud stage, becoming a spicy musk when open. Later in the season, the musky scent of the stamens is more evident, with hints of orange peel and almonds. Excellent disease resistance. Plant in any well-drained soil with plenty of organic matter in sun. Also, use mycorrhizal fungi 'Rootgrow' in your planting hole. These are friendly fungi that attach themselves to roots for the purpose of accessing available nutrients for plants. Height: 135cm, Spread: 105cm. Fully hardy.
