A vigorous form with dark green leaves, tinged purple when young and masses of double, creamy pink flowers from April to May. Plant in any well-drained soil with plenty of organic matter, keeping the roots cool. Height: 10-11m. Aspect: Any. Prune to tidy after flowering. Maybe pruned hard if out of control. Fully hardy.
