David Austin - Rose 'Belle De Crecy', 6L Pot.

A "Gallica" type rose, this variety produces double, roughly quartered flowers from crimson buds. The flower colour alters from the outside in, through cerise, dark pink, magenta, lilac and mauve, until almost grey. They are borne singly or in clusters upto four blooms on arching, almost thornless stems. The scent is strong and sweet, and once flowering. Mildew can be a problem. Plant in any well-drained soil with plenty of organic matter in sun. Also, use mycorrhizal fungi 'Rootgrow' in your planting hole. These are friendly fungi that attach themselves to roots for the purpose of accessing available nutrients for plants. Height and Spread: 100cm.
