A compact, clump-forming, deciduous grass. The upright green leaves appear in May with broad horizontal cream bands; panicles of pinkish flowers are borne in autumn. Plant in any well-drained soil with plenty of organic matter in sun. Height and Spread: 60cm. Fully hardy.
