"Snowdrop Tree", A vigorous, conical tree with downy, mid-green leaves, though becoming hairless with age; turning yellow in autumn. Clusters of bell-shaped white flowers are borne in late spring, before or with the leaves, followed by 4-winged green fruits. An unusual choice, but well worth the lovely display of flowers. Plant in a neutral to acid soil with plenty of organic matter in sun or partial shade. Also, use mycorrhizal fungi 'Rootgrow' in your planting hole. These are friendly fungi that attach themselves to roots for the purpose of accessing available nutrients for plants. Height: 12m, Spread: 4m. Fully hardy.
