"Fig", A compact variety with a bushy habit, producing purple-black, thick-skinned fruits; the fruits ripen during August to September. Plant in any well-drained soil with plenty of organic matter in sun or in a container with John Innes No3; restrict the roots in the ground to encourage fruiting. Can be grown against a wall.
