"Aprcot", This is a new Canadian variety that has revolutionised apricot grouwing in Europe. It is an attractive variety produces masses of blossom and very large almost peach-sized fruit which have a strong red blush over an orange background and an intense apricot flavour. It is an attractive compact tree and is best grown as a fan-trained tree against a sunny wall. Plant in any well-drained soil with plenty of organic matter in sun. Also, use mycorrhizal fungi 'Rootgrow' in your planting hole. These are friendly fungi that attach themselves to roots for the purpose of accessing available nutrients for plants. Height: 3-3.5m. Pick Late July. Self-fertile.
