An open spreading deciduous tree with dark green leaves above and grey-green underneath. These give shades of orange and yellow in autumn. Pale pink flowers are produced in late spring followed by large white marble-like persistent fruits. Plant in a neutral to acid soil with plenty of organic matter in partial shade. Also, use mycorrhizal fungi 'Rootgrow' in your planting hole. These are friendly fungi that attach themselves to roots for the purpose of accessing available nutrients for plants. Height: 8m, Spread: 7m. AGM.
