A strong growing deciduous tree with a large rounded head. The leaves are also large, rounded, grey-green on top and white underneath. White flowers are produced in late spring followed by brown fruits in the autumn. Plant in a well drained soil with plenty of organic matter in sun or partial shade. Also, use mycorrhizal fungi 'Rootgrow' in your planting hole. These are friendly fungi that attach themselves to roots for the purpose of accessing available nutrients for plants.
