"Himalayan Cherry", A small deciduous tree with rusty-hairy young shoots and small clusters of pale pink flowers in spring. It has a peeling reddish-brown and amber bark, very similar to Prunus serrula and is its main feature. Plant in a rich fertile soil in sun or partial shade. Also, use mycorrhizal fungi 'Rootgrow' in your planting hole. These are friendly fungi that attach themselves to roots for the purpose of accessing available nutrients for plants. Height and Spread: 4-5m. Fully hardy.
